What Does This Committee Do?
The Grievance Committee’s primary responsibility is the protection of all Flight Attendants against arbitrary and unjust disciplinary action and to uphold the collective bargaining agreement.
What is a Grievance?
A grievance is a dispute between envoy air and a Flight Attendant or all Flight Attendants as outlined in Section 21 of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Your local grievance representative will represent each Flight Attendant on the local level and will file a grievance if necessary. If a grievance is denied by the Company on the local level, the grievance is automatically appealed to the System Board of Adjustments.
The System Board of Adjustments advocates all grievances as outlined in Section 22 of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Who Do I Contact?
Think You Might Have a Grievance?
If you have been subject to a situation that you believe might warrant filing a grievance, it is recommended that you report the issue through the AFA I need a rep tab and follow the prompts. When filing a report, the questionnaire will help you to determine whether your situation meets the qualifications of filing a grievance. Members of the Grievance Committee review each report and follow up with the Flight Attendant to help determine options and a course of action.
